World population totals and urban split by economy, 1960-2025
Value-added panel of the World Bank's World Development Indicators (keyless API v2, CC BY 4.0): total population (SP.POP.TOTL) and urban population (SP.URB.TOTL) for ~215 economies, 1960-2025, with derived signals — urban share, rural headcount, 1-year and 10-year population growth, urban 1-year growth and the within-year population rank. The canonical population denominator for per-capita models plus the urbanization layer; joins on economy_code with the catalog's other World Bank panels.
