Agri-food trade competitiveness indicators from FAO's FAOSTAT Trade domain (TCLI): one row per (area, commodity, year), 2010 onward, ~185 areas x 23 items — six of FAO's eight published trade indicators (Balassa revealed comparative advantage, import dependency ratio, self-sufficiency ratio, terms of trade, trade openness, share of agri exports in GDP; the two World-only market-concentration indices are excluded by design), with an RCA>1 comparative-advantage flag and the within-(commodity, year) RCA rank. Who joins this: trade economists read rca_index/rca_advantage as the workhorse competitiveness signal; procurement teams use import_dependency_ratio and self_sufficiency_ratio as supply-risk features; macro models track terms_of_trade_pct and agri_exports_gdp_share_pct. Pairs with the FAOSTAT production (QCL) and food-security panels.
