Holiday shipping countdown panel 2026 (daily, USPS + FedEx)
Derived daily panel (2026-12-01..2026-12-24, per carrier, domestic): on each date, how many services are still open vs closed, the cheapest and fastest still-open service, the next closure and days to it, whether the standard-shipping window is still open (the date a shop can still promise Christmas at standard rates), and a documented 0-100 urgency_score = round(100*(0.5*closure_ratio + 0.5*(1-min(1,days_to_final_cutoff/24)))). A shop joins this on order date + carrier to set 'order by' promises and flag at-risk shipments. Derived deterministically in code from the curated cutoff table (USPS lower-48 scope + FedEx domestic); 48 rows. Annual snapshot, yearly cadence.
