Global ILO Unemployment Signals (derived)
Global unemployment signals from the ILO modeled estimates via World Bank WDI (~200 economies, annual 1991 ->): 10-year change, OLS trend slope, 3-sigma shock flags, 5-year linear-extrapolation forecasts, cross-country ranks, the female-minus-male gender gap, crisis/recovery flags and a 10-year z-score. The breadth companion to the OECD 20-country monthly set: every country's unemployment story on one harmonized grid. World Bank WDI (non-commercial terms).
ILO ILOSTAT
Employees' average hourly earnings by sex and ISCO skill level, annual, for 138 countries, territories and ILO aggregates (2000 to 2025, 14,218 observations), from ILOSTAT national labour force surveys and ILO-STATISTICS microdata processing — dataflow DF_SDG_0851_SEX_OCU_NB, the official SDG 8.5.1 series. Method: gross remuneration in cash and in kind paid to employees, as a rule at regular intervals, for time worked or work done plus remuneration for time not worked, per hour actually worked. Five series per country x sex: all skill levels plus skill level 1 (low), 2 (medium), 3-4 (high) and not elsewhere classified. Units: nominal local currency, ISO 4217 code carried per row; earnings are NOT converted to a common currency, so levels are not comparable across countries without conversion — the female/male ratio within a country-year is. Caveats: some national sources report a different time unit (e.g. the United Kingdom reports per month), carried verbatim per row; OBS_STATUS=B flags a break when national methodology was revised, U flags low reliability; coverage is uneven (Canada publishes no series, Germany's latest skill-total year is 2022); figures are revised with each ILO vintage.
Youth Labor Signals (derived)
Annual ML-enriched youth labor-market signals for ~190 economies, derived from ILOSTAT: youth (15-24) unemployment by sex, the youth-disadvantage ratio (youth rate / adult rate) and the female-minus-male youth gap, with 30-period change volatility, 3-year momentum, 3-sigma anomaly flags versus a trailing 10-year baseline, naive-drift 1-year forecasts, and a per-year cross-country volatility rank. Raw data: International Labour Organization (ILOSTAT, CC BY 4.0). All rows carry ISO alpha-3 country_code and join cleanly with other labor datasets.
