Canada Pump-Price Signals (derived)
Retail pump-price signals derived from Statistics Canada's monthly average retail gasoline, diesel and household heating fuel prices: cents per litre by city/province and fuel type since 1979, with month-on-month and year-on-year changes, 3-month momentum, 12-month annualized change volatility, 3-sigma anomaly flags vs a trailing 12-month baseline, naive-drift 1-month forecasts, per-month cross-city momentum ranks, and each city's spread versus the national average. The monetizable signals layer on top of raw StatCan retail fuel prices. Raw series: StatCan via the CKAN open-data portal (monthly average retail prices for gasoline and fuel oil).
Global City Climate Stress Signals (derived)
Value-added monthly climate-stress signals for 54 world cities from free NASA POWER data: cooling/heating degree days (energy demand proxies), precipitation anomalies (drought/wetness), solar and wind resource anomalies, and heat/cold stress flags — 1981 to present. All computation is local pandas/numpy; no paid models or APIs.
North America city weather panel (daily)
Daily observed weather for 18 Canadian metro stations (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Quebec City, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Victoria, Halifax, Saskatoon, Regina, St. John's, Kelowna, Moncton) from ECCC climate-daily observations (MSC GeoMet OGC API, keyless). Trailing 370 days, updated daily: max/min temperature (degC), precipitation (mm), snowfall and snow depth (cm), heating/cooling degree days (base 18 degC, ECCC published) plus ML-ready flags — heatwave (tmax>=32), deep freeze (tmin<=-15), heavy precipitation (>=25mm). ECCC 'M' (missing) flags become NULL, never imputed.
Daily observed weather for 20 US metro airport stations (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Seattle, Miami, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, Denver, Minneapolis, Detroit, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Nashville, Portland, Las Vegas) from NOAA GHCN-Daily (keyless .dly files, public domain). Trailing 370 days, updated daily: max/min temperature (degC), precipitation (mm), snowfall and snow depth (cm), heating/cooling degree days (base 18 degC, computed from the daily mean) plus ML-ready flags — heatwave (tmax>=32), deep freeze (tmin<=-15), heavy precipitation (>=25mm). GHCN -9999 (missing) becomes NULL, never imputed.
US Metro-Area CPI Inflation (BLS via FRED, keyless)
Monthly US metro-area CPI inflation panel, 1914-12 onward, for the 10 Core-Based Statistical Areas whose CPI the St. Louis Fed redistributes live (New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle): CPI-U all items, not seasonally adjusted, 1982-84=100, with 12-month percent change (defined for bimonthly metros on same-parity months), 1-month change for the two monthly metros, per-month inflation ranks and i1..i4 heat tiers. Bimonthly metros publish every other month — off-months are honest nulls, never imputed. Upstream: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics via FRED keyless fredgraph.csv (CUURA101/102/103/207/208/316/319/320/422/423SA0). One row per metro x month; join keys: metro_code, year_month, country_code=USA. Who joins this: online shops join demand on metro + month, subscription businesses join regional churn, sales teams weight pipeline by local cost pressure.
