Weekly US crop condition intelligence from the keyless USDA NASS Crop Progress releases (ESMIS, fixed-width text tables): one row per (week-ending Sunday, state, crop) with the five published acreage-rating percentages (very poor/poor/fair/good/excellent), the headline good+excellent and poor+very-poor aggregates, a documented 1-5 acreage-weighted condition index, fixed-band condition tiers (excellent/good/fair/poor/critical), and the week-over-week change in good+excellent. Covers the full growing season (winter wheat and oats from April; corn, soybeans, cotton, sorghum, peanuts, rice, barley, spring wheat mid-season; pasture & range throughout). Method: parse each week's prog<WW><YY>.txt positional tables, resolve states to USPS/ISO codes, enforce the publisher's sum-to-100 identity and the file-name/week-ending consistency gate, recompute week-over-week moves from consecutive weekly files. Caveats: '-' is a published zero; '(NA)' is kept as an honest null (rows with any (NA) skip the sum gate and the index); state coverage varies by crop (the 'These N States' bracket is recorded per row); ratings are enumerator assessments, not measured yields.
