US residential natural-gas price intelligence (monthly)
Monthly US residential natural-gas price intelligence from the U.S. Energy Information Administration's Natural Gas Navigator (keyless dnav XLS downloads): the residential consumer price in dollars per thousand cubic feet (1989 -> present) for all 50 states + DC, benchmarked against the US average. Per (state, month): residential price, premium/discount vs the national average, month-over-month and year-over-year change, within-month price rank and YoY-growth rank, price tier (1-5 quintile), a documented 0-100 gas-cost pressure score (50 neutral; >70 elevated; >85 severe), and spike/surge/12-month-record/cheap-gas flags. Upstream EIA revision gaps stay null, never imputed. The winter heating-bill complement to the gasoline and heating-fuel panels: gas bills are the largest winter variable cost for most US households, squeezing discretionary spend — a direct demand signal for online shops and subscription businesses.
