All-Transactions House Price Index for the United States (index 1980:Q1=100, not seasonally adjusted; FRED USSTHPI, U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency, House Price Index release, quarterly 1975-Q1 onward). Estimated from sales prices and appraisal data. Carries 1-quarter and 4-quarter percent changes and a contraction_flag marking quarters with a year-on-year price decline. FHFA revises history with each vintage (kept as published).
