US total construction spending, monthly
Monthly US total construction spending intelligence panel, 1993-01 onward: value of construction put in place, total (millions of U.S. dollars, seasonally adjusted annual rate; FRED TTLCONS, U.S. Census Bureau Value of Construction Put in Place Survey (C30), redistributed keyless via FRED fredgraph.csv). Carries 1-month and 12-month changes (levels and percents), the 3-month annualized percent change (the building-momentum read), and a contraction_flag marking months construction put in place is smaller than a year earlier. One row per month x USA; in-window nulls fail loudly, never imputed. Who joins this: B2B sales teams join pipeline and bookings on year_month + country_code and use the construction-demand regime features; building-materials and equipment retailers use spend_3m_ann_pct as the demand-momentum gauge.
