EU27 trade volume index by partner, monthly
Monthly imports and exports of the EU27 (from 2020) as volume indices (2021=100, unadjusted), by partner, for total trade in goods (SITC Rev.4 all products). Eurostat dataset ext_st_eu27_2020sitc ('EU27 (from 2020) trade by SITC product group'). Each row is one (month, partner, flow): the volume index. Method: Eurostat compiles customs and Intrastat declarations reported by EU member states and deflates values into volume indices; partner 'CN_X_HK' is China excluding Hong Kong, and aggregates (EU27_2020, EXT_EU27_2020, EFTA, ASEAN, ...) are included as published. Units: index points, 2021=100. Caveats: unadjusted for seasonality and calendar effects; recent months are provisional and revised as late declarations arrive. Coverage: EU27 trade with 56 partners, 2002-01 to the present, monthly. Provenance: Eurostat keyless JSON-stat API, free reuse with attribution (Commission Decision 2011/833/EU) - please cite Eurostat. Primary key: (month, partner_code, flow). Join keys: partner_code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 for countries), month. Cadence: refreshed monthly. Sample use: compare the imports volume index for partner_code='CN_X_HK' against 'US' to track real import growth by origin.
