  • Global Gender Labor Gap Signals (derived)

Global gender labor gap signals (female-male gaps, convergence flags)

Value-added gender labour-market signals from free ILOSTAT modelled estimates: female-minus-male unemployment, participation and employment gaps with 10-year convergence trends, convergence flags, 3-sigma anomaly flags and cross-country gap ranks across ~190 countries. All computation is local pandas/numpy; no paid models or APIs.

  • Global ILO Unemployment Signals (derived)

Global ILO unemployment signals (labor-market breadth)

Global unemployment signals from the ILO modeled estimates via World Bank WDI (~200 economies, annual 1991 ->): 10-year change, OLS trend slope, 3-sigma shock flags, 5-year linear-extrapolation forecasts, cross-country ranks, the female-minus-male gender gap, crisis/recovery flags and a 10-year z-score. The breadth companion to the OECD 20-country monthly set: every country's unemployment story on one harmonized grid. World Bank WDI (non-commercial terms).

  • ILO ILOSTAT

SDG 1.3.1: social protection coverage by sex (annual)

Share of the population effectively covered by a social protection system (including social protection floors), by sex, annual, for ~190 countries. ILO SDG indicator 1.3.1, sourced from the ILO Social Security Inquiry database — dataflow DF_SDG_0131_SEX_SOC_RT. Method: the SOC_CONTIG_TOTAL function (all social protection functions combined); the Inquiry publishes mainly the total sex aggregate (SEX_T). Units: percent. Caveats: figures can differ from nationally reported data and the Global SDG Indicators Database because of different sources and reference years; country-year coverage is sparse for some countries.

  • ILO ILOSTAT

SDG 1.1.1: working poverty rate by sex (annual)

Working poverty rate by sex for ages 15 and over, annual, 2000 to the latest year, for 117 countries plus ILO regional and income-group aggregates. ILO SDG indicator 1.1.1, part of the ILO modelled estimates, harmonized across national sources — dataflow DF_SDG_0111_SEX_AGE_RT. Method: the percentage of employed persons living below the international poverty line of US$3 per day in purchasing power parity, estimated from household surveys. Units: percent. Caveats: modelled estimates are harmonized for cross-country comparability and can differ from nationally reported figures; country coverage varies (some economies have no modelled series for this indicator); figures are revised when the ILO publishes a new vintage.

  • Youth Labor Signals (derived)

Global youth unemployment signals (youth disadvantage ratio, gender gap, anomalies)

Annual ML-enriched youth labor-market signals for ~190 economies, derived from ILOSTAT: youth (15-24) unemployment by sex, the youth-disadvantage ratio (youth rate / adult rate) and the female-minus-male youth gap, with 30-period change volatility, 3-year momentum, 3-sigma anomaly flags versus a trailing 10-year baseline, naive-drift 1-year forecasts, and a per-year cross-country volatility rank. Raw data: International Labour Organization (ILOSTAT, CC BY 4.0). All rows carry ISO alpha-3 country_code and join cleanly with other labor datasets.
