Share of the population effectively covered by a social protection system (including social protection floors), by sex, annual, for ~190 countries. ILO SDG indicator 1.3.1, sourced from the ILO Social Security Inquiry database — dataflow DF_SDG_0131_SEX_SOC_RT. Method: the SOC_CONTIG_TOTAL function (all social protection functions combined); the Inquiry publishes mainly the total sex aggregate (SEX_T). Units: percent. Caveats: figures can differ from nationally reported data and the Global SDG Indicators Database because of different sources and reference years; country-year coverage is sparse for some countries.
