Monthly Canadian inflation divergence intelligence from Statistics Canada's Consumer Price Index (table 18-10-0004-01, 2002 = 100, not seasonally adjusted): YoY/MoM/3-month-annualized inflation for Canada, the 10 provinces and the 3 territorial capitals, each province's gap to the national YoY rate, a per-month provincial inflation rank (1 = hottest), a documented 0-100 inflation heat score (gap + acceleration), accelerating / above-national flags, and the top basket-component driver of each province-month's divergence (8 major components). Index history from the sibling raw statcan_cpi vector curation, verified 2026-09-26 against the full-table CSV download. Caveats: not seasonally adjusted; the latest published month is occasionally revised; territorial figures are the published territorial-capital series.
