Canadian insolvency stress: provincial scores and ranks, monthly
Monthly Canadian insolvency-stress intelligence from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy's historic monthly statistics (filings from 1987): total/bankruptcy/proposal and consumer/business filing counts for Canada, the 10 provinces and the 3 territories, YoY/MoM/3-month-annualized momentum, a documented 0-100 financial-stress score with per-month provincial ranks (1 = most stressed), filing-composition shares, a bankruptcy-pressure flag (consumer bankruptcies displacing proposals), record-high flags, and each geography's additive percentage-point contribution to Canada's YoY change. Identity gates (total = bankruptcies + proposals = consumer + business) hold exactly over the full history. Caveats: counts are filings, not filers; not seasonally adjusted; latest month occasionally revised; Nunavut starts 1999.
