  • AI startup funding rounds (agent-curated)

    AI startup funding rounds (weekly)

Weekly structured digest of AI startup funding rounds announced in the trailing 7 days. Three queries against the keyless Google News RSS search interface (AI startup raises funding / AI startup seed round / artificial intelligence startup Series funding) are filtered to completed raises ("in talks", "seeks funds" and roundup listicles dropped), deduplicated on a canonical company key across reporting outlets (most informative report kept, n_reports counted), and parsed into structured fields: round type (pre-seed/seed/angel/series a-e/venture/growth/bridge, else undisclosed), amount FX-normalized to USD millions (EUR 1.16, GBP 1.34, CAD 0.73; original currency kept), valuation when the reporting discloses one (amounts inside a valuation phrase are routed to valuation, never to amount), investors (lead marked where stated), country + ISO alpha-3 (only when the collected material states a location — never guessed), announcement date, headline, publisher and a per-row verifiable source URL. Agent-verified enrichment: rounds the agent verified beyond the headline carry the verified country, investors, round type and canonical article URL, each with its own provenance URL. Rows are deal-size ranked (undisclosed amounts last). Columns: ISO week, fetch timestamp (day-granular, UTC midnight), company, round type, amount in USD millions, original currency, valuation in USD millions, investors, country, ISO alpha-3 country code, announcement date, headline, publisher, source URL, deal-size rank, report count. Primary key: (week, company). Cadence: weekly; each snapshot is the trailing-7-day announced-round universe, ranked biggest first. Nullability: amount_usd_m is null when only a valuation was disclosed; valuation_usd_m is null when none was disclosed; country/country_code/investors are null when not stated in the collected material; announced_date may be empty when the feed omits it. Caveats: amounts are as-reported (equity/growth/debt mixed); only facts from headlines are stored, no article text; commercial_use is unclear (underlying reporting belongs to the credited publishers). Sample use: order by deal_size_rank for the week's biggest AI rounds, or filter country_code = 'USA'.

  • Global House-Price Signals (derived)

Global house price signals (BIS real residential property prices)

Quarterly housing-market signals derived from the BIS selected residential property price indices: real (inflation-deflated) house-price indices (2010 = 100) for ~60 economies and BIS aggregates, with year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter changes, 30-quarter annualized change volatility, 1-quarter momentum, 3-sigma anomaly flags vs a trailing 12-quarter baseline, naive-drift 1-quarter forecasts, a per-quarter cross-country volatility rank, a 10-year overvaluation z-score (froth gauge) and drawdown-from-decade-peak (correction gauge). Country codes are normalized to ISO alpha-3 (BIS aggregates keep stable codes) so rows join cleanly with other country-keyed datasets. Raw series: Bank for International Settlements (WS_SPP).

  • Euro Effective Exchange Signals (derived)

Euro effective exchange signals (valuation vs 10-year baseline, momentum, volatility)

Value-added euro valuation signals derived from the free European Central Bank effective-exchange-rate statistics: nominal and real (CPI-deflated) EER deviation from trailing-10-year means, valuation z-scores with overvalued-regime flags, 3-month momentum, 12-month volatility and 3-sigma anomaly flags — a compact euro-valuation dashboard for FX watchers. All computation is local pandas/numpy; no paid models or APIs.

  • Sterling Valuation Signals (derived)

Sterling valuation signals (GBP spot rates, daily momentum, valuation gauges)

Daily sterling valuation signals derived from the Bank of England's Statistical Interactive Database: GBP/USD and GBP/EUR spot rates plus the broad sterling effective exchange rate index, with 1-day and 5-day percent changes, 30-day annualized change volatility, 3-sigma anomaly flags vs a trailing 60-day baseline, naive-drift 21-day forecasts, a per-day cross-series volatility rank, and 5-year valuation gauges (z-score and percent deviation from the trailing 5-year mean — the cheap/expensive-sterling gauge). All rows are normalized to country_code GBR so they join cleanly with UK data. Raw series: Bank of England (IADB), free and keyless.

  • US Equity Valuation Signals (derived)

US equity valuation signals (Shiller CAPE regime gauges)

Monthly U.S. equity valuation signals from Robert Shiller's long-run stock-market dataset (1871 ->, keyless): the CAPE ratio and excess CAPE yield with 3-month momentum, 30-month change volatility, 3-sigma anomaly flags vs a trailing 12-month baseline, naive-drift 1-month forecasts, a 20-year CAPE z-score valuation-regime gauge, over/undervalued flags, a >30 high-valuation flag, and an excess-yield-vs-bonds z-score. All rows are normalized to country_code USA so they join cleanly with US macro data. Raw data: Robert J. Shiller
