Freshness intelligence for every dataset on Canada's Open Government Portal (open.canada.ca): one row per dataset package with days since its last metadata update, resource counts and formats, datastore/validation health, and a documented 0-100 freshness_score (75% recency decay + 15% datastore liveness + 10% validation health) tiered as fresh/aging/stale/dormant, plus per-row license and provenance URL. Built from the keyless CKAN package_search API with entity-resolved bilingual publisher names and a loud PII screen on titles. Caveats: metadata_modified is a maintenance proxy, not data vintage — archival datasets score dormant by design.
