US state weekly gasoline price intelligence from the keyless U.S. Energy Information Administration Petroleum Navigator history tables: one row per week per state for the 9 states EIA publishes weekly (CA, CO, FL, MA, MN, NY, OH, TX, WA), 2000 to present. Each row carries the published price ($/gal), the state's premium or discount vs the same-week US average, gap-aware week-over-week / 4-week / 52-week changes in dollars and percent (null when a comparison week is missing or not exactly 7/28/364 days earlier — never annualized or filled), the per-week cross-state price and premium ranks, a price quintile tier, a documented 0-100 fuel-strain score (50% winsorized YoY momentum + 50% trailing-52-week range position), and sharp-move (>=5% WoW) / 52-week-record-high flags. Method: melt EIA's wide month-x-week tables to a tidy panel with validated ISO week dates; momentum requires exact day spacing. Caveats: prices are weekly averages of retail outlets surveyed Monday (not tradable spot prices); EIA publishes only these 9 states weekly, so the other 41 states + DC are out of scope by upstream design; the score is a relative history gauge of fuel-cost pressure, not a price forecast.
