Value-added panel of UNHCR's Refugee Population Statistics Database (keyless API, CC BY 4.0): year-end stocks of forcibly displaced and stateless people by country of origin, 1951-2025, with the forcibly-displaced total (UNHCR's 'People forced to flee' definition), the cross-border vs internally-displaced split, 10-year and 1-year changes, within-year displacement ranks, and crisis-scale flags. The Global Trends headline lens for displacement-risk monitoring and humanitarian planning; joins on origin_iso3 with the catalog's other country panels.

origin_iso3	string	Country of origin code as published by the UNHCR API (coo field).
origin_name	string	Country of origin name as published by the UNHCR API (coo_name field).
region	string	UNHCR major area for the origin (API countries endpoint field majorArea, e.g. Africa, Asia); null for the 'Unknown' origin bucket.
year	integer	Reference year (1951-2025; year-end stocks; 2025 is the latest broadly covered year).
refugees	float	Refugees under UNHCR's mandate originating from the country, year-end stock (UNHCR population group). (unit: persons)
asylum_seekers	float	Asylum-seekers originating from the country with pending claims, year-end stock (UNHCR population group). (unit: persons)
returned_refugees	float	Refugees who returned to the country of origin during the year (flow, not a stock; excluded from the forcibly-displaced total). (unit: persons)
idps	float	Internally displaced persons protected/assisted by UNHCR in the country of origin, year-end stock (UNHCR population group). (unit: persons)
returned_idps	float	IDPs who returned to their place of origin during the year (flow, not a stock; excluded from the forcibly-displaced total). (unit: persons)
stateless	float	Stateless persons originating from the country, year-end stock (UNHCR population group; not forcibly displaced, kept verbatim). (unit: persons)
ooc	float	Others of concern to UNHCR originating from the country, year-end stock (UNHCR population group; kept verbatim, not in the forcibly-displaced total). (unit: persons)
hst	float	Host community members (UNHCR population group; kept verbatim, not in the forcibly-displaced total). (unit: persons)
forcibly_displaced	float	Derived: refugees + asylum_seekers + idps + oip — UNHCR's 'People forced to flee' definition. The oip component (others in need of international protection) is folded in where reported (2018+; the raw oip series stays available via the raw unhcr_displaced_population dyads). Null only when all four groups are null. Excludes UNRWA-mandate Palestine refugees and IDMC's separate IDP estimate (not in this API). (unit: persons)
displaced_abroad	float	Derived: refugees + asylum_seekers + oip — people who fled across the country's borders (vs idps who remain inside). The oip component is folded in where reported (2018+). Null only when all three groups are null. (unit: persons)
idp_share	float	Derived: idps / forcibly_displaced — the share of displacement that is internal; null when the total is null or zero. (unit: share)
displaced_change_10y	float	Derived: trailing 10-year change of forcibly_displaced; null when the base year is absent. (unit: persons)
displaced_change_1y	float	Derived: year-on-year change of forcibly_displaced; null when the prior year is absent. (unit: persons)
displacement_rank	integer	Rank of forcibly_displaced within the year (1 = most displaced, the crisis lens); null where the total is null. (unit: rank)
crisis_flag	integer	1 when forcibly_displaced reaches 1,000,000 people (analytic cutoff, own definition); null when the total is null.
mega_crisis_flag	integer	1 when forcibly_displaced reaches 5,000,000 people (analytic cutoff, own definition); null when the total is null.
row_hash	string	Deterministic 12-hex row identity hash (origin_iso3\|year).
