Share of the population aged 25 and above whose highest completed level of education is at least lower secondary (ISCED 2+), in percent, by country and year, from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (https://api.uis.unesco.org/api/public/data/indicators). Each row is one (year, area): EA.2T8.AG25T99. Method: keyless UIS Data API v1; one request for the single indicator; null values dropped. Units: percent. Caveats: attainment is estimated from censuses and household surveys and is sparsely observed for many countries (median country has roughly a third of years 1970-2024); this slice carries no regional aggregates and no estimate flags; the latest 1-2 years are provisional and revised. Coverage: worldwide, 1970 to 2024, yearly granularity. Provenance: UNESCO Institute for Statistics, CC BY-SA 4.0 — please cite the UIS with the extraction date. Primary key: (indicator_id, area, year). Join keys: iso3 (ISO 3166-1 alpha-3), year. Cadence: refreshed yearly. Sample use: filter iso3='IND' to track rising secondary attainment in India.
