Gini coefficient of equivalised disposable income (annual, Europe)

Annual Gini coefficient of equivalised disposable income - 0 means perfect income equality, 100 means total inequality - for EU member states, EFTA countries, EU candidate countries and EU/euro-area aggregates. Eurostat dataset ilc_di12 ('Gini coefficient of equivalised disposable income by age'), filtered to freq=A, age=TOTAL, statinfo=GINI_HND ('Gini coefficient (scale from 0 to 100)'). Each row is one (year, country). Method: Eurostat compiles EU-SILC microdata transmitted by the member states; income is equivalised disposable income (modified OECD equivalence scale); age=TOTAL covers the whole population. Non-EU/EFTA/candidate countries (the UK) are dropped (same licensing rule as the other Eurostat datasets). Units: index points (0-100). Caveats: national EU-SILC redesigns create series breaks for some countries (flagged in Eurostat metadata); the Gini is a relative inequality measure - it says nothing about income levels, so pair it with an income level dataset for the full picture; the UK is dropped by the connector's commercial-use geo rule; the EU27_2020 and EA20 aggregates are included as published. Coverage: ~39 geographic units after the geo rule, 2014 to the present, annual.
