ECB lending rate: loans to corporations
Monthly bank lending rate on new loans to euro-area non-financial corporations, from the ECB's MFI interest rate statistics (dataflow MIR). The series is the annualised agreed rate on new business, loans other than revolving loans and overdrafts (A2A), all original maturities, covering the euro area (U2), published monthly from 2000-01. It tracks the cost of bank borrowing for firms — the headline corporate-lending indicator in the ECB's monthly MFI interest rate press release. European Central Bank statistics; reuse is free with attribution under the ESCB statistics reuse policy. Units: percent per annum.
