Annual intelligence over the full Directory of Open Access Journals (~23.4k journals, CC0 metadata, sanctioned bulk CSV). Per journal: normalized top-level LCC subject class, ISO alpha-3 publisher country, APC pricing reduced to a single USD figure (native USD preferred, else ECB reference-rate conversion), license/permissions features, preservation and PID scheme coverage, article-record volume in DOAJ, and a documented 0-100 openness composite (CC BY=25, author retains copyright +15, DOI scheme +15, preservation +15, plagiarism screening +10, no-APC +10, peer-review process +10) with deterministic openness_rank. Primary key: journal_id (DOAJ table-of-contents record id). Cadence: annual. Caveats: the bulk CSV lags DOAJ's live database by up to 30 days; APC prices are publisher-declared and may lag; apc_max_usd is the maximum listed price; currency conversion uses the fetch day's ECB rates; days_since_update tracks DOAJ record maintenance, not publishing activity.

is_multilingual	boolean	True when the journal publishes in more than one language.
has_apc	boolean	Whether the journal charges an article processing charge.
apc_max_usd	float	Maximum listed APC converted to USD: native USD price preferred, otherwise the largest listed price converted with the fetch day's ECB euro reference rates; null when no convertible price is listed. (unit: USD)
apc_currencies	string	Pipe-separated currencies the APC is listed in.
is_apc_free	boolean	True when DOAJ records has_apc = false.
waiver_available	boolean	Whether an APC waiver policy is declared.
