  • Canadian Climate Anomaly Intelligence

    Canadian climate anomaly intelligence (monthly)

Monthly temperature and precipitation anomalies versus 1981-2010 climate normals for a curated panel of long-record Canadian climate stations, from ECCC's keyless MSC GeoMet OGC API (climate-monthly collection). Each row is one (station, month): mean/min/max temperature, the official normal, the temperature anomaly in C, total precipitation, its normal, the precipitation anomaly in %, snowfall, heating/cooling degree days, warm/cold/wet/dry extreme-month flags, station-record warmest/coldest flags, and a documented 0-100 extreme_score (0.50 |temp anomaly| + 0.30 |precip anomaly| + 0.20 station-record flag) ranked per month with a top-10 most-extreme flag. Station-months below the 25-valid-day coverage gate are dropped, never interpolated. Units: degrees C; mm; %. Caveats: station-identifier based (retired identifiers end, never spliced); ECCC revises history so re-ingests can legitimately differ; normals reference 1981-2010. ECCC Data Services End-use Licence v2.1.1 — commercial_use = yes, attribution required. Primary key: (as_of, station_id, local_date). Cadence: monthly.

  • Canadian Climate Anomaly Intelligence

    Canadian provincial climate anomalies (monthly)

Province x month rollup of the Canadian climate-anomaly station panel (ECCC keyless MSC GeoMet OGC API): number of reporting stations, median temperature anomaly in C, median precipitation anomaly in %, share of stations running warm (>= +2 C), cold (<= -2 C), wet (>= +50 % precip) and dry (<= -50 % precip), and the mean extreme_score with a per-month provincial rank. One row per (province, month); provinces with no reporting stations in a month are absent, never zero-filled. ECCC Data Services End-use Licence v2.1.1 — commercial_use = yes, attribution required. Primary key: (as_of, province_code, local_date). Cadence: monthly.

  • Global Surface-Temperature Signals (derived)

Global surface-temperature signals (GISTEMP warming gauges)

Monthly global surface-temperature signals from NASA GISTEMP (global, Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere land-ocean indices, 1880 ->, anomalies vs 1951-1980): 3-month and 12-month changes, 30-month change volatility, 3-sigma anomaly flags, naive-drift forecasts, 10-year warmth z-scores, trailing-10-year warming trends (C/decade), record-warmth flags, and +1.5 C Paris-threshold flags. The planetary-outcome lens on climate change — the warming behind the CO2 driver (co2-growth), the ENSO driver (enso), and city heat extremes (city-climate-stress). All rows normalized to country_code WLD. Raw data: NASA GISS (keyless, public domain).
