Annual EU27 trade in services (balance of payments, BPM6) in million euro, by partner. Eurostat dataset bop_its6_tot ('International trade in services (since 2010) (BPM6)'), filtered to bop_item=S (total services), currency MIO_EUR (million euro), freq A (annual), reporter geo EU27_2020. Each row is one (year, partner, flow): credit is EU27 services exports to the partner, debit is EU27 services imports from the partner, and balance is credit minus debit (negative values are genuine deficits and are kept). Method: Eurostat compiles balance-of-payments returns reported by EU member states; partner 'CN_X_HK' is China except Hong Kong, and aggregates (EU27_2020, EXT_EU27_2020, ...) are included as published. Units: million euro. Caveats: the latest year is provisional and revised as late BoP returns arrive; values are not seasonally adjusted; goods trade is excluded - see 'eurostat-trade-value-monthly' for merchandise trade. Coverage: ~300 partners, 2010 to the present, annual. Provenance: Eurostat keyless JSON-stat API, free reuse with attribution (Commission Decision 2011/833/EU) - please cite Eurostat. Primary key: (year, partner_code, flow). Join keys: partner_code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 for countries), year. Cadence: refreshed yearly; Eurostat publishes the annual series around mid-year. Sample use: filter flow='credit' and partner_code='US' to track EU services exports to the United States.
