  • US County Economic Momentum Intelligence

US county economic momentum intelligence (annual)

County x year panel of economic momentum from BEA GDP by County (keyless bulk-download zips, full annual history 2001 -> latest, 3,127 counties). Real levels in thousands of chained 2017 dollars with YoY growth, 5y/10y CAGRs, and growth spreads vs the county's state and the nation in percentage points. Percentile-of-own-history growth and level scores (trailing 20 years) feed a documented 0-100 county-momentum index with per-year ranks and g1-g4 tiers. Dominant industry, current-dollar share, and industry HHI concentration per county-year (disclosed industries only — BEA suppresses values to avoid disclosure; suppressed rows are flagged). Surge, cooling, contraction, back-to-back-contraction, record-high, and preliminary flags mark regime years; the state and US national backdrop rides on every row.

  • Federal Reserve Beige Book (district tone intelligence)

Fed Beige Book district tone (8x/year, 2018-)

Federal Reserve Beige Book district tone intelligence, January 2018 through the latest published release (~8 releases/year): one row per (release_date, fed_district) for the 12 Federal Reserve districts. Each district narrative is scored with a documented deterministic economic-valence lexicon (negator/intensifier rules, 3-token lookback) into a 0-100 tone_score, plus five aspect mention rates per 1,000 words (labor, price, demand, credit, uncertainty), release-over-release tone change, a trailing-4-release tone z-score, and the within-release tone rank. Derived scores only — no Federal Reserve prose is redistributed. Source: Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Beige Book releases (keyless HTML). Join keys: release_date, fed_district, country_code=USA. Who joins this: regional sales teams join district tone to territory/account lists on (fed_district, release_date) to time outreach and weight pipelines; subscription businesses use the district tone series as a demand-regime feature; online shops join demand aspect rates and tone momentum to local demand planning.

  • US Regional CPI Inflation Divergence (BLS via FRED, keyless)

US regional CPI inflation-divergence panel (4 Census regions)

Monthly US regional CPI inflation-divergence panel, first observation onward, for the four Census regions (Northeast, Midwest, South, West): CPI-U all items, food, energy, and core (all items less food and energy), not seasonally adjusted, 1982-84=100, via keyless FRED fredgraph.csv. Each region-month carries 12-month and 1-month changes per component, the U.S. city-average benchmark YoY, the region-minus-US spread in percentage points, within-month inflation ranks and i1..i4 heat tiers, food-vs-energy and headline-vs-core driver gaps, a 24-month YoY z-score, acceleration flags, a documented 0-100 heat score with within-month heat rank, and a trailing-12-month record-high flag. October 2025 is null (BLS published no CPI during the federal appropriations lapse); component indexes start later than all-items in early history — honest nulls, never imputed. One row per region x month; join keys: region_code, year_month, country_code=USA. Who joins this: online shops join demand on region + month to tune pricing and promos against local inflation heat; subscription businesses price annual-plan escalators against regional core inflation; sales teams weight pipeline by regional cost pressure.

  • US state coincident-activity momentum (monthly)

Monthly coincident-activity panel for the 50 US states: the Philadelphia Fed's state coincident indexes (dynamic single-factor model of payrolls, manufacturing hours, unemployment and real income; indexed to 2007 annual average = 100; history from January 1979) enriched into a join-ready signal - 1-month / 3-month / 12-month percent changes, a 0-100 momentum_score (percentile of the 12-month change in the state's own trailing-120-month history) with booming/strong/steady/soft/stalled bands, the 12-month change gap vs the US aggregate, a 3-consecutive-month-decline contraction flag, record-high and preliminary flags, and the US benchmark broadcast on every row. Keyless official .xls download; values subject to monthly revision. Who joins this: a sales team joins (month, state_code) to territory prioritization - states with accelerating coincident activity are expanding economies where prospects have budget; a subscription business joins it to market-expansion timing; an online shop joins it to regional demand forecasting.

  • State Coincident-Activity Signals (derived)

US state coincident-activity signals (Philadelphia Fed index momentum, state-vs-nation divergence, anomalies)

Monthly signals derived from the Philadelphia Fed's Coincident Economic Activity Indexes (redistributed by FRED): 30-month annualized change volatility, 3-month momentum, year-over-year change, 3-sigma anomaly flags vs a trailing 12-month baseline, naive-drift 1-month forecasts, a per-month cross-state volatility rank, the state-minus-nation cycle-divergence gauge and a 24-month growth z-score (the state business-cycle heat gauge). Covers the national index plus all 50 state indexes from 1979. All rows are normalized to country_code USA so they join cleanly with US macro data; the state identity rides in series_id. Raw series: Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED); underlying data: Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

  • US State Personal-Income Signals (derived)

US state personal-income signals (regional income growth)

Quarterly US state personal-income signals from BEA total personal income (FRED <USPS>OTOT series, 49 states + DC — North Carolina excluded, FRED's NCOTOT is corrupted — 1948-Q1 ->): year-on-year growth, quarter-on-quarter change, 4-quarter volatility, 3-sigma anomaly flags, naive-drift forecasts, 5-year growth z-scores, per-quarter growth ranks, each state's share of US personal income, outperform-vs-US and contraction flags. The income lens on US regions — what households actually receive — complementing state-gdp-signals (output), state-labor-signals (unemployment), and state-cycle-signals (coincident index). The US benchmark is the sum of the 50 included state series each quarter (North Carolina excluded — FRED's NCOTOT is corrupted). All rows normalized to country_code USA. Raw series: U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis via FRED.

  • UK House Price Index (HM Land Registry / ONS)

UK House Price Index: national and regional

Monthly UK house prices from the UK House Price Index (HM Land Registry / Office for National Statistics, https://publicdata.landregistry.gov.uk/market-trend-data/house-price-index-data/UK-HPI-full-file-YYYY-MM.csv). Each row is one area (United Kingdom, Great Britain, England and Wales, the four nations, or one of the nine English regions) in one month: mix-adjusted average price (GBP), house price index (January 2015 = 100) raw and seasonally adjusted, 1-month and 12-month index changes (%), seasonally adjusted average price, sales volume, and average prices by property type (detached, semi-detached, terraced, flat). Method: keyless download of the latest monthly full-file release; national/regional rows selected locally. Units: GBP for prices, index points (2015-01=100), percent for changes, counts for sales volume. Caveats: Northern Ireland rows are updated quarterly inside the monthly release; ONS revises past months (revisions surface as new content-hashed snapshots); average prices are mix-adjusted, not simple means. Coverage: 1968-04 to the latest published month, monthly granularity, 16 areas. Provenance: UK HPI, Open Government Licence v3.0. Primary key: (area_code, date). Join keys: date, region_name. Cadence: refreshed monthly; a new snapshot appears only when a new monthly release (or revision) changes the data. Sample use: regional house-price momentum as a housing-market and consumer-wealth signal.
