OECD
Quarterly price-to-income indices, 2015=100, from the OECD Analytical House Prices database (OECD measure HPI_YDH: "Price to income ratio"): 43 OECD members, partner economies and aggregates, 1960-Q1 to the present (2026-Q2 as of 2026-09-23). Method: the OECD's price-to-income ratio relates nominal house prices to household disposable income and is published rebased to 2015=100; every series is seasonally adjusted. A rising index means house prices are outpacing incomes - the standard valuation/affordability gauge. Unit: index points, 2015=100. Caveats: income concepts follow national accounts and differ slightly across countries; Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye have no price-to-income series. Provenance: OECD SDMX-REST v2, keyless - please cite the OECD. Primary key: (quarter, country_code). Join keys: country_code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 for countries; EA, EA17 and OECD aggregates kept verbatim as published), quarter (first day of quarter). Cadence: refreshed quarterly, about one quarter's lag. Sample use: filter country_code='USA' to track US housing valuation against incomes since 1970.
