Global Longevity Convergence Signals (derived)
Value-added longevity signals from the free WHO Global Health Observatory: life-expectancy frontier gaps and catch-up velocity, healthy-life-expectancy trends, suicide-rate trends and malaria decline, with 3-sigma anomaly flags and cross-country ranks across ~190 countries. All computation is local pandas/numpy; no paid models or APIs.

World Bank
Mortality rate of children under age 5 per 1,000 live births - the probability that a newborn dies before reaching age five, for the 8-country panel (USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Japan, China, India). The World Bank publishes the indicator in the World Development Indicators from estimates developed by the UN Inter-agency Group for Child Mortality Estimation (UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, UN DESA Population Division); it is a headline indicator for SDG target 3.2. It pairs with the connector's health-expenditure dataset added alongside it: health-spending input against child-mortality outcomes - note the USA's rate runs several times higher than Japan's despite outspending it. The 8-country panel is covered 2000-2024 in the live vintage with no upstream gaps observed - values are null where estimates are unavailable and are never interpolated. Units: deaths per 1,000 live births.
