    SDG 8.8.2: labour-rights (FACB) compliance score (annual)

    Level of national compliance with fundamental rights at work — freedom of association and collective bargaining (FACB) — annual score for 270 ILO member states and aggregates (2015 to 2024, 2,692 observations), from the official SDG 8.8.2 series — dataflow DF_SDG_0882_NOC_RT. Method: the ILO codes six international supervisory-body textual sources plus national legislation against a list of evaluation criteria and converts the coding into a 0-10 indicator: 0 is the best possible score (highest compliance), 10 the worst. This dataflow carries no sex or breakdown dimension — one score per country-year. Units: compliance score, 0-10. Caveats: the ILO states the indicator is not intended for comparing compliance among member states — reporting obligations to the supervisory system differ between ratifying and non-ratifying states; the series is updated as new textual sources are coded; figures are revised with each ILO vintage.
