    ECB deposit rates: households and corporations (monthly)

    Monthly bank interest rates on new deposits with an agreed maturity in the euro area, from the ECB's MFI interest rate statistics (dataflow MIR). Two series: the annualised agreed rate paid on new deposits from households and non-profit institutions serving households, and the rate paid on new deposits from non-financial corporations. Deposit rates are the funding-cost mirror of the ECB's headline lending rates — they show how fast policy-rate moves pass through to what savers and firms earn. The household series runs monthly from 2000-01; the non-financial-corporations series is published from 2025-01. European Central Bank statistics; reuse is free with attribution under the ESCB statistics reuse policy. Units: percent per annum.
