  • DeFi TVL Signals (derived)

DeFi TVL signals (on-chain capital by chain, drawdown gauges)

Daily DeFi total-value-locked signals from DefiLlama for the top 12 chains by TVL (2017 ->): daily TVL in USD with 63-day and 252-day changes, 30-day change volatility, 3-sigma anomaly flags, 30-day naive-drift forecasts, 5-year TVL z-scores, capital-flight drawdown flags, and per-chain dominance shares. The on-chain-capital lens on crypto — real capital deployed in DeFi, independent of token prices. Companion to crypto-price-signals (prices) and bitcoin-network-health-signals (single-network fundamentals). All rows normalized to country_code WLD. Raw data: DefiLlama (keyless API).

  • Global Remittance Signals (derived)

Global remittance signals (migration money flows)

Global remittance signals from World Bank WDI (~200 economies, annual ~1970 ->): remittances received and paid, 10-year changes, OLS trend slopes, 3-sigma shock flags, 5-year linear-extrapolation forecasts, net flow (received minus paid), remittance-dependence flags and cross-country dependency ranks. The migration-money lens: who depends on diaspora income and where flows are surging. World Bank WDI (non-commercial terms).

  • Treasury Foreign-Holdings Signals (derived)

US Treasury foreign-holdings signals (TIC buying/selling flows, holder concentration, anomalies)

Monthly signals derived from the US Treasury's TIC portfolio-holdings data (redistributed by FRED): 30-month annualized change volatility, 3-month momentum, year-over-year change, 3-sigma anomaly flags vs a trailing 12-month baseline, naive-drift 1-month forecasts, a per-month cross-holder volatility rank, the 12-month buying/selling flow gauge (millions of dollars) and each holder's share of total foreign holdings (the concentration gauge). Covers all-foreign holdings plus Japan, China and Canada. Rows are normalized by holder country_code (WLD/JPN/CHN/CAN) so they join cleanly with cross-country data. Underlying data: U.S. Department of the Treasury, Treasury International Capital.

  • World Bank FDI Net-Inflows Intelligence (keyless)

    FDI net inflows, annual

Annual global FDI net-inflows panel, 1970 onward: foreign direct investment net inflows (BoP, current US$) — new investment inflows less disinvestment, 10%-ownership threshold — for every country and aggregate published in the World Development Indicators (BX.KLT.DINV.CD.WD; underlying data: IMF Balance of Payments Statistics, via the keyless World Bank API v2; CC BY-4.0). One row per country x year; carries the 1-year change, the trailing 3-year mean, a disinvestment flag and a persistent-disinvestment flag. The panel is ragged upstream (reporting lags differ by country): null observations are dropped, never imputed; lumpiness is kept verbatim in the level series. Values are current US dollars — cross-year comparisons mix price and volume effects. Who joins this: investment analysts join on year + country_code with trade/macro panels; capital-flow and country-risk models use the flags; fdi_3y_avg_usd is the low-noise destination-ranking feature.
