WHO Global Health Observatory health outcomes (annual panel)
Per-country latest-value panel of eight WHO Global Health Observatory outcome indicators — life expectancy, healthy life expectancy (HALE), infant / under-five / neonatal mortality, maternal mortality ratio, TB incidence, adult mortality — from the keyless GHO OData API. Each row is one country (ISO alpha-3 PK): only WHO 'COUNTRY' rows (regions, income groups and GLOBAL aggregates excluded), only both-sexes rows where disaggregated, latest year per indicator with its own reference-year column, canonical country names and ISO alpha-3 codes via hub/normalize.py, and a documented 0-100 composite health-outcome score (per-indicator min-max over the snapshot, 100 = best, inverted for mortality/incidence; mean of available subscores, requires >=4 of 8 indicators) ranked as health_rank with h1..h4 tiers. Columns: as-of date, ISO alpha-3 country code, canonical country name, eight indicator values with per-indicator reference years, indicators_available, completeness (n/8), health_score, health_rank, health_tier, WHO API provenance URL, row hash. Cadence: annual; the as-of date is fixed per run so identical input produces an identical content hash. Caveats: reference years differ across indicators and countries (each value carries its own year); WHO revises historical estimates, so later runs can legitimately change values; the score is a heuristic, not a clinical assessment. WHO terms reserve commercial use to prior written authorization -> commercial_use = no (documented + searchable, bulk parquet withheld). Sample use: filter health_tier = 'h1' for the best-outcome countries, or sort by maternal_mortality for the maternal-health panel.
