UK Police (data.police.uk)
Monthly police-recorded street crime in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, counted by police force and crime category. Built by aggregating data.police.uk's keyless monthly open-data archive (one row per street-level crime across ~42 forces) into force x category x month counts; units are crimes per month. The archive is a rolling 36-month window published about two months in arrears, so the series always covers the latest three years and each refresh re-aggregates the whole window — forces occasionally resubmit earlier months, and those revisions are picked up automatically. Caveats: data.police.uk does not cover Scotland; British Transport Police published street-level files only for the older part of the archive window (through 2025-01); Greater Manchester published no street-level file in the window at all; Gloucestershire's street files stop at 2026-01; a few forces miss some months (e.g. North Yorkshire has no 2026-07 street file) — genuine upstream gaps, counted in the source metadata, never filled); locations in the source files are anonymised by the publisher.
