    Country research output by field (annual)

    Annual scholarly output by country and research field from the official keyless OpenAlex API (CC0): works with a primary topic in Computer Science, Medicine, Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Economics/Econometrics/Finance or Environmental Science, counted per country (full counting — a cross-border work credits every author country), ~200 countries, 2015-2025. Work counts plus each country's share of the field, year-on-year growth, the field's share of the country's six-field output, and the country's rank within the field-year. The geography layer for R&D, innovation and talent-flow models; joins on (country_code, year) with the catalog's other global panels.
