FEMA National Risk Index county-hazard intelligence
One row per (U.S. county, NRI hazard family) for the 18 FEMA National Risk Index v1.20 (Dec 2025) hazards: hazard risk score (0–100 national percentile) and rating, expected annual loss (total/buildings/population/agriculture, USD) with each hazard's share of the county's total EAL and rank-in-county, dominant hazard per county + its EAL share, county EAL per capita and as a share of building value, Very-High rating ordinals, a multi-hazard hotspot flag (>=2 Very High hazards), social vulnerability and community resilience scores/ratings, and the hazard's documented period of record. 88 insufficient-data counties are kept as coverage-transparent null rows. Primary key: (county_fips, hazard_code). Join keys: county_fips (5-char GEOID), hazard_code. Cadence: quarterly (version-pinned; re-ingests as a no-op until FEMA publishes a new NRI version). FEMA NRI data is U.S. public domain — commercial_use = yes. Sample use: filter multi_hazard_hotspot and order by county_eal_per_capita_usd desc for the riskiest compound-risk counties per resident.
