FAOSTAT Production Intelligence
Crop and livestock production volumes from FAO's FAOSTAT Production domain (QCL): one row per (country, commodity, year), 1990-2024, ~210 countries and territories x ~259 commodities, with production in tonnes, the country's share of the FAO-published world total, the within-year world rank, the trailing 10-year change, the FAO observation flag and a deterministic row hash. Who joins this: food-security models join production volumes on (area, item, year) to price and trade panels to split supply shocks from demand shocks; agri desks read the world share and rank to size a country's weight in a commodity market (Brazil's sugar-cane share, Ukraine's wheat rank); development analysts use the 10-year change as the physical counterpart to yield and value-per-worker panels.
