World Bank
The gross enrollment ratio for tertiary education is total enrollment at that level, regardless of age, expressed as a percentage of the population of the five-year age group following secondary-school leaving age. It is sourced from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics via the World Bank World Development Indicators, and is updated annually. The ratio can exceed 100% because of late entry, repetition, and over-age enrollment. Values are null where national statistics are unavailable; sparse years are never zero-filled.
