Air carrier departures, registered carriers (worldwide)
Registered carrier departures worldwide for the 8-country panel (USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Japan, China, India): domestic takeoffs plus takeoffs abroad of air carriers registered in the country. The World Bank publishes the indicator in the World Development Indicators from the ICAO Civil Aviation Statistics of the World (International Civil Aviation Organization, plus ICAO staff estimates). Pairs with the air-transport-passengers dataset (flights behind the passenger counts). Values are null where national statistics are unavailable and are never interpolated. Units: departures.
