Access to electricity (% of population)
Access to electricity is the percentage of the population with access to electricity. Electrification data are collected from industry, national surveys and international sources, and are published by the World Bank in the World Development Indicators from the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Global Tracking Framework. Values are null where national statistics are unavailable; the 8-country panel is covered 2000-2025, with the high-income members at 100% throughout and India approaching universal access (99.5% in 2023). Units: percent of population.
