Mean weekly hours actually worked per employed person by sex, annual, for 248 countries, territories and ILO aggregates (1976 to the latest year, 12,648 observations), from ILOSTAT national labour force surveys and microdata processing — dataflow DF_HOW_TEMP_SEX_AGE_NB, ages 15 and over. Method: mean weekly hours of actual work during the reference week, main job currently held. Units: hours. Caveats: job-coverage and reference definitions vary by country and series carry breaks when national methodology is revised (OBS_STATUS=B flags a break); the latest 2026-2027 rows for many countries are ILO modelled estimates; cross-country levels are not directly comparable without adjustment for these breaks.
