Natural disaster human and economic impact panel
Value-added panel of EM-DAT via Our World in Data (keyless grapher CSVs, CC BY 4.0): annual deaths, people affected (injured + requiring assistance + homeless), and economic damages as a share of GDP for 200+ countries, 2000 onward — each split across eight disaster types (drought, earthquake, volcano, flood, landslide, storm, wildfire, extreme temperature), with the deadliest and costliest disaster type per country-year. The physical-risk layer for climate, insurance and sovereign-risk models; joins on country_code with the catalog's other country-year panels.
